The holes on the LS1 tool don't line up correctly for the LS3.

I've taken a look at that and there is a reason to spend the money for the LS3 tool.

Much easier, correct, and no risk of bending or breaking anything like you (might/probably) would using the LS1 style.

The Crane LS3 tool is the bees kness BTW,
