LS1 Valve-spring tool

I have the Crane LS1 valve-spring tool from years ago and was wondering if it would work on the LS3 or is the offset intake valve gonna be a problem? Or is the offset just the rocker? Thanks

The holes on the LS1 tool don't line up correctly for the LS3.

I've taken a look at that and there is a reason to spend the money for the LS3 tool.

Much easier, correct, and no risk of bending or breaking anything like you (might/probably) would using the LS1 style.

The Crane LS3 tool is the bees kness BTW,
Ivan

Thanks a bunch, man. Lol, forgot I had posted this. Good thing I remembered since it appears I will have to buy a new spring tool.

No it will not work. Check Vinci's website. He sells the tool you need for the L92/LS3's for $99. I ordered 2-3 LS1/LS3 tools a year from him. Great guy.

We've got a tool that works very well for your LS3!

You can also add on the air adapter to pressurize the cylinder and make changing the springs easier without the worry of dropping valves!

Dual spring tool FTW. I used a single tool on my original set of heads and it sucked and doubled the install time. The crane style cut spring swaps in half and doing the TDC method vs the stupid air fitting shaved even more time off.
