There is also a 725hp version of the Shelby Supersnake available, which would certainly seem to be equivalent to the Nickey stage 3 package. Count on the Nickey stage 2 package also costing around $30K.

These Nickey stage 2 and stage 3 Camaros will be extremely expensive, just like the Shelby Supersnakes (which are their direct counterparts) that cost $30K over and above the cost of a base GT500. Who among you will buy one if you can get a brand new 'vette Z06 discounted to about the same price? Heck, how many of you are filthy rich enough to pay over $60K for a Camaro? And keep in mind that the 700hp version will carry no warranty and may not even be street legal (if it includes any of the engines referred to as "for off road use only" by Stefano Bimbi of Nickey).
