Basically all you get with the SS is Raw power, and I mean raw. 430HP is quite a bit and takes some getting used to. And you also get the FE3 suspension. So, I'd say if you don't need/want the power and don't care for the sport suspension, get the V6 you'll love it.

I tend to look at it as though if the V6 doesn't have enough power for you...or if you want MORE....then go for the V8...hmf..."don't want", or "don't care".
You make it sound sub-par...
