Not legit at all. It's Motor Trend guessing like the rest of us....except they happen to have a magazine to print it in.
They claim to have seen the clay model or somesuch of the Z28, which may be true. The trouble is that was nearly a year ago, and many design features could have changed by then.
Nobody outside of the company knows exactly what powertrain they'll use...and on top of that, price is the absolutely last thing they figure out, so we're at least 6 to 10 months away from that announcement.
