Of course, I never meant to say that the Z28 is supposed to compete against the Corvette. But the Mustang comes in at a hair under $50k (as does the base Corvette), and given the trend of other Camaro models we should expect the Z28 to be a bit more than the equivalent Mustang. Meanwhile, the Grand Sport starts under $55k. Odds are, the Z28 will fall somewhere between the two but I expect it to be priced closer to a GS than the GT500 if its going to outperform the Ford.
