What kind of temps are you looking at on a normal day?
Remember the only differences between these two oils is cold crank viscosity (denoted by the 5w and 10w). The 5w oil is rated to be used in temperatures no lower then -30 degrees F (-34 degrees C) while the 10w oil is rated to be used in temperatures no lower then -20 degrees F (-28 degrees C). In other temperatures these two oils will behave the same way.
