Best oil grade for tropical country?
Hi. My SS is due for an oil change, I live in the Philippines, it is hot in here. What grade of oil would you suggest? Should I keep using 5w30? or should I use 10w30? Thanks in advance for your help C5.

Remember the only differences between these two oils is cold crank viscosity (denoted by the 5w and 10w). The 5w oil is rated to be used in temperatures no lower then -30 degrees F (-34 degrees C) while the 10w oil is rated to be used in temperatures no lower then -20 degrees F (-28 degrees C). In other temperatures these two oils will behave the same way. |
