It is ok to vent, and I'm trying real hard to figure out exactly why you are still venting after you got your money back for the Vette which I agree should have been handled better by GM. However do you really think Nissan would have given you better treatment than GM did in the same situation. You should go visit the Nissan GT-R forums and see what those people got from Nissan for using the launch control which is the only way to get the 0-60 times advertised...

I understand. I'm not sure, but i would've gotten another car. Trust me I've bought plenty of Chevys/GM's from the dealer I got my Vette and ordered my SS from and got my money back. And, I bought plenty of Z's over the years, when I didn't have a Vette, and I also would've gotten my money or another car from them too! The truth is the dealer would only lose tax, because they stick a reman unit in the car and sell it new when it doesn't leave the lot! Plus, I'm good friends with both owners of the dealer. They are like uncles to me!
But, the dealer has a decision to make lose the business of over 20 years which has been more than tax on this one car, or give the guy what he wants and have a happy customer coming back for more! I wouldn't have a problem with the Nissan dealer either, now I'm sure Nissan Corp. wouldn't do anything different either. But, I also have luckily never had a problem with my Z's either!
Not to say I wouldn't I just haven't. I just feel the Z might be the better way to go, a more pure sports car. But, as of now I'm still the waiting owner of a Camaro SS, and I might be anyways so no worries!
