I'm finding it more and more to the point I don't want to post. if you call someone out on the use of a search button you get tons of people telling you it doesn't work. and that your an A$$ for telling them to use it.
the lack of respect people have towards each other is one reason I know it's been lost. ie the thread I was in recently where my point didn't come out clear but a huge argument progressed along with name calling. although the argument that ensued was my fault to a big extent the name calling started with the other individual labeled as a senior member. with only 200ish posts. doesn't matter either way. I'll still be around.

There are other Camaro sites that I could post the trips and pictures on, but it would just take time I don't have and I still consider Camaro5 "home".
It has changed here, but I think we all knew that would happen. When I first posted on our trip to California in 2008, there only a few thousand memebers as I recall. Now it's many times that size.
How much of the change is due to the "for profit" appearance? I think most sites are like that, but a couple of years ago, Camaro5 didn't have advertisers. Is that what has created the change?
But it is still mostly focussed on a really great car that everyone here has in common.
But on a good note..............no a great note...................the convertible is an awesome car and gets a ton of attention. Of course the attention comes like a switch, the switch that drops the top. I had many 5th gen drivers just drive on by when the top was up, but dropped? Tons of questions and comments.
So just as a discussion starte, what could be done different here to make it "better" or more like the tight nit family it was a couple of years back? Any ideas that don't put all the work on Tran or the moderators?

to the bolded part. that we definitely knew. I really don't think it has anything to do with the for profit side. I think it has to do with the success with car. which with the good comes the bad. hopefully more good. . .
it's funny how people just left you alone with the top up. I wouldn't have. come to NC and I'll bug the hell out of you if your in that car, or a mythical unicorn. . .
