To prove the last name isn't related, you'd have to do a Y-DNA test which test's the Y Chromasome that you get from your Father. She doesn't have a Y Chromasome so she would have to test either a brother or her father.

She could do a MtDNA test, but that only tests the mitochondrial DNA you get from your mother which has nothing to do with your last name.
