I sent GM an e-mail about ambiant lighting. This is how it went...

I have read on Camaro5.com that the ambiant lighting may not be ready for the launch of the Camaro. I would like to know if it will be ready because I would like to upgrade to the 2SS from the 1SS if it is going to be ready. If it will not be ready I will gladly stay with the cheaper 1SS but it is an option that I would love to have. Thank you for any info that you can provide.

According to our information, ambient Light (ABL) should be available at start of production on the 2LT and 2SS 2010 Camaro models. It consists of lighting around the door trim and instrument panels. However, we recommend keeping in touch with your preferred Chevrolet dealership for the most current information on option availability. More information on the 2010 Camaro can be found online at http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro.
