Performance pads squeal. Ask any Ferrari......but this is a mass-market car, and so they've come up with a solution to change the resonance of the brake caliper to eliminate the complaint. Head to the dealer....either way you're going to get new pads...but 20k miles seems far too soon for them to be worn down.
