And if you're looking to update you're list, the top of the line Mustang for 2009 was the GT500KR. Shouldn't you be using that in place of your own 2007 GT500?

Not what I am saying at all. I agree, if you have a specific budget, then you have to choose from whatever fits in that price range yet you can still go home happy about. I'm certainly not going to argue that the Camaro doesn't offer the best bang for the buck, because anyone who does any kind of research is going to come to that conclusion.
I was just pointing out that the gap between a GT500 and a similarly loaded 2SS is not as wide as what a lot of people are fond of pointing out.
