I'm sorry...I'm tired, and frustrated. I shouldn't have snapped. Still...it's not shameful. It gives the general public everything they need to know, and nothing they don't.

No I don't. I like ABL. And in fact, it was a major player in whether I get a 2LT or a 1SS for a while. I understand the desire for this feature very well. In terms of the big picture, though...it isn't worth misleading the public in any direction by posting yea or nay on any site, nor is it worth delaying the car.

Pre-orders, as in
before production. Once they plant fires up with full-production models, then it becomes regular ordering. Up until then, they can't build any ordered vehicles, so they have this built-up cue to complete...and in the case of a enthusiast-followed car...that cue gets big...fast.

Whoever is making the decision to keep us in the dark on this needs to rethink their veil of secrecy. Shoot, Number 3 hinted that he knew the answer but didn't want to say anything due to fondness for having a job.

Misrepresentation is a slippery slope. And when you yourself don't know how something is going to pan out, you cannot give an answer to a group of people who hinge on your every word as gospel.
I'd say the lack of communication about this feature was of our own making, actually...how out of control did 75% of this forum act when news of a paltry 4 week delay made the headlines? We panic much, much to easily and speculate much, much to wildly.:(
