I think the point is that sure you have seen time slips of an R/T running 13.1 but that is prob. with a great driver, conditions etc.. If you compare an equal comparison, it would be the same day, the same track and the same driver. Like stated, in the magazines when they tested the G8 and the Challenger head to head on the same track the same day the G8 was quicker.. so moral of the story, based on those statistics, one could assume that whoever is driving a SHOWROOM STOCK SRT8 challenger to whatever great time they get should really be able to drive a SHOWROOM STOCK G8 GXP even quicker, same goes for the R/T and the GT.

As a motorcycle track guy or yesteryear, I also have to point out the dubious statement of "bone stock" when we are talking about people posting track slips. Unless you were there and inspected the car...checked the rear end gear, opened up that engine bay etc...you can't actually say that. And...*GASP* people lie online and cheat in real life
