So the Z06 has run 10s STOCK....in the 1/4 mile? I've never heard of that one. It's a serious performer, but are you telling me it's a 10 second car without drag tires, from the factory? I just found that hard to believe, especially on street tires(stock) considering I've never came across any magazine test from Motor Trend, Inside Line, Edmunds, or anyone else which would substantiate that 10 second claim, it's not like I've been looking either but hell. All these magazines, as far as I know, have recorded 11.xx times for the Z06. I've never heard of it pulling off 10s without switching out the tires. If the Z06 is running 10s STOCK, then the ZR1 should be running 9s stock!
We know the ZR1 is in the 10 second hollowed-grounds, but if a 505hp Z06 can runs 10s just like a 638hp ZR1 can, I couldn't justify the buy for the ZR1. This is of course, according to everything you said. If a Z06 can do 10s the ZR1 can do 9s,......on street tires. Im not buying it.
Just wondering, can you show me some proof.........beyond a youtube video? Anyone can pull up a youtube video, most of which are unreliable and unverifiable. You got time slips or personal video?
Im not saying the Z06 cant run 10s at the strip,.....what I am saying is I've never heard of a Z06 running 10s on street tires; meaning the tires from the factory. I've always heard, on drag tires.
