Big disconnect meaning the scoop and cai aren't attached to each other. And this was in reference to the potential for sucking up water. imo It can't suck up water. Jannetty tested the C.A.I. with and without scoop. As I recall it was 4 HP. Yes it was well worth adding the scoop. If you look, you will notice that the stock washer bottle really blocks a lot of area. Imagine having that out of the way and a duct plumbed to unrestricted air.
