Met a guy at a car GTG last night that had an IOM. Showed me his painted pearl stripes and told me he had his car wet sanded to get the "orange peel out of the crappy GM paint job" and then shot it with 2 coats of clear.
Thought this was a great idea to maybe protect the wimpy paint...... thoughts??? |
My paint shop said the clear coat is too thin on mine to sand it...
I'm used to my basketball texture now anyway.
