The SSX-style wheel is definitely lighter than the polished/machined ones. By how much...I dunno. But if I had to guess, I'd say ~5 lbs a wheel...1lb estimate for each "bar" of metal removed from the center each spoke on the silver wheel.
Both look to be very expensive wheels (factory-speaking)...since they're both constructed relatively the same, it would seem with this news that the finish process on the SSX wheel is less expensive than that for on the polished one.

I know I'm happy about this!
