I was under the hood for 20 minutes at the auto show, and even the LS3 has an amazing mount of access room. I was shocked. You can get to all the spark plugs easily, changing the serpentine belt will be a piece of cake, and if you ever need to change the water pump or an accessory like the alternator or A/C compressor, that will be an easy reach as well - lots of room between the radiator and front of the engine.


Ask anyone with a 4th gen F-bod what they think about engine bay access.
I am glad to hear such positive comments about access room on the 5th generation. Lack of access room was one of the reasons why I never owned a 4th generation Camaro.
