There have been whispers (WHISPERS, mind you - nothing remotely close to official confermation) that there will be more than one grille for this car.....
And you nailed it!! It's really amazing how much difference a color can have on what you see/don't see - and the beauty is it's totally individual.
Apparently, Black does a better job at hiding aspects of the car than white!

It's probably what they would have done...but the main reason for no cap on the top of the fender we're being told is crash-standards, and safety ratings. So...body color or shiny, pretty concept cap - it wouldn't change a saftey rating.
