It is implied by the fact that it's a preorder. Who in their right mind would put down a deposit to take part in a census? If you sincerely thought that then I've got some great land a couple hundred miles south of me that I'd like to sell you. Beautiful area with tons of wild life to boot.

Fbodfather specifically made us believe, even though I thought otherwise, that preorders would be made first. Now I know he's going to come back and say that he did no such thing but I'd like you all to go back and read some old threads.

Now of course he never said that customer orders would be built before sold orders. But he certainly made people believe that. I even argued with him about it. And sure enough, I was right. But then again, how could I have been arguing with him if he wasn't disagreeing with me? Read the threads and I think you'll understand. Especially notice Skyman's reaction. He took Scott's word as gospel and interpreted it to mean that customer cars would get built first. We all know now that didn't happen. As I said then, GM never had any intention of this. But, I decided to trust Scott in spite of the other evidence.
I don't feel like going back and digging up other examples (it's 2am and I have to work in the morning) but there's plenty more of this sort of statement from the GM folks.
