Dont buy it.
GM could offer to submit another order and mark it priority and ship it to a loacal lealer who will work with them and customers to make this right. Laws may prohibit them from doing anything to that order but the order can be replaced and GM could frown on that dealers practices and there are things GM can do. If i was selling widgets and my manufacturer contacted me to help them out I would jump to that opportunity. Plus I would gain a new customers respect in the mean time.
