Are you sure about that? Are all those listed not 4th Generation Chevy Small blocks? Displacement does not matter - since the 7.0 L LS7 shares the same block with the LS2, and all its cousins listed here, too. (Or so I thought)

I'm pretty sure that the LS2, LS3, LS4, LS7, LS9, LSA, L76 all share the same Gen IV block, to name a few. The rotating assemblies (displacement), bore (displacement), and heads, etc. Are a different story.
