NOTHING (supposedly) can cause a voiding of your warranty, legally. Where the warranty gets thrown out the window is if any trouble with the car can be directly traced back to the modification....(I.e. if headers you put on caused to much back pressure and blew up the engine. Purely theoretical, but just putting th headers on should NOT void the warranty)
Does that make sense? I guess this is a law. The warranty is only void if any repairs are needed because of a modification.
