IMHO the slip is all that matters.
It is what it is, the guys in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona and other places with altitude >1500 feet don't have it as good as guys running near sea level.
I'm running right at sea level (Houston) and my car ranges from 11.9's to 12.1's due to weather, but I would probably be at 12.4 at Denver.
Concerning racing for slips, some guys have a lot better conditions than others, when to me, the slip is all that matters, because I know (without any computer telling me) that 11.43 will be around 11.6 or higher in Denver.
Scoreboard = 11.43!
