There WILL be a V8 under 30k dollars (I'm betting 27,000 - 28,000). I'll stake my life on it. And I'll even present a few reasons

1) The LS1, and the LS2 cost about the same to produce. (LS2 is a few hundred more expensive iirc).
2) The LS3 is less expensive to produce than the LS2. (yet you'll find more hp.)
3) Mustang starts at ~26k (just goin' by the site ) And the Camaro MUST come close to that otherwise its a failure from the start.
4) We've been told countless times "not to worry", and to "have faith". All in response to these types of threads, where the content is read. So they know what we're thinking...and we're told not to worry.
5) The G8, an extremely WELL equipped Pontiac sedan with a V8 starts at 29k. Take away "sedan", and "Pontiac" and "well equipped" from the get-go - and you're lookin' at -3000 easy, imo.

I'm not trying to rag on you or nothin' - it was just a perfect opening for me to post this. And lots of people have brought this up before, worrying about an expensive Camaro - so I wanted to address it: Don't worry about pricing. GM's got this!

(of course, you could also be talking about the GT-500 fighter - I don't think you are - in which case this whole post would be moot)

EDIT: I forgot to add that the G8, completely decked-out, just barely tops 33 grand..........
