OH!!! Just had a brilliant idea! (aside from Texas, which is my personal fav for c5f4)
how bout out on the salt flats in Utah?
Benefits -
- Make your own 1/4 mile, auto-X, road(salt) course!
- Have a 1 mile top speed challenge
- Have a max your camaro event (5 mile stretch)
- autocross on salt = better have skill!
- unlimited room for vendors/setup
- have your camaro on the famous salt flats!
downsides
- would have to locate, rent, ect all of the timing equipment for 1/4 ect
- hotels close? or just camp on the salt?
- insurance and event coordination with Utah?
- not much else to do...
