I believe Mobil 1, 5w-30,will come standard in the engine, which is, as many of you know, is a fully synthetic lubricant from GM. (So much for using "regular oil during break-in procedures!)
There is no "10 year/100,000" mile warranty........
1. Bumper to bumper" for 3 years/36,000 miles
2. Powertrain: 5 years/50,000 miles (Engine/Transmission/Transaxel/Transfer
case and Drive Systems(axel shafts, bearings, CV joints etc.)
Hope this helps clear up some mis-conceptions that a few of you may have.

You're both part right. The powertrain warranty is 5yr/ 100,000 mile.
