On the point of:
LS2 being tossed - Correct.
A new block - The LS3, and (my memory fails me, it's a truck engine) represented the last major deviations/editions to the GenIV engine lineup. I
don't think that the LSA/LS9 count in statement.
So...I definitely think that we're not going to get ANY engine as we know it right now. (i.e. We'll get some variation, much like the LS3 in the G8).
