I have no experience with either so I cannot comment on the efficiency of one over the other. If you used a sandwich type adapter, wouldn't that negate the need for the factory oil cooler? It seems the sandwich adapter might not fit correctly or would put the outlet/inlet where it would interfere with headers and/or exhaust.

When removing your stock oil cooler wht did you do with the cooling lines? Especially the one that goes into the engine block? Did you just run a jumper and bi-pass old oil cooler? Or did you remove the cooling lines all together as well? Thanks for the help!
