Maybe some coil overs, (not sure what brand yet), some nice wheels/tires and use the stock wheels with some winter tires for the winter months. Those would be first up on the list, then onto the modifications!
And, like I said, Kaizen will be doing all the work. They are one of the top shops for these cars and the GT-R's. They have a great rep with the Evo crowd.

Thanks man. STIs are great cars but its not really daily stuff. I drove one before I bought the wrx and honestly it's much better. Lots of ringland failures in the STIs. I wouldn't spend the loot on the Coilovers, I'm doing the same got winters on the stock rims and gonna buy another set of wheels for the stock summers I demounted. Wrx stage 1 tune us STI power levels. You just don't get the brembos or the transmission. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you got the evo or wrx/sti
