I have been looking at the 2013 EVO MR for some time now and wouldn't mind owning on for my daily driver. Kaizen tuning is located in the same state as me, about 45/60 minutes away and they can build some monster AWD cars. They would get my business.

I love my camaro, but the Evo and STi cars are in a completely different league. I test drove both of the lastest models and love them. They are a ton of fun to drive in the mountains. I really wish I could take one out on track to compare it to my camaro.
I have to say when I track my car, the Evos and STIs can hold their own. Having a turbo stock is AWESOME......but i wouldn't take it over my car. That being said, i have the utmost respect for a Evo or STi driver.....as long as they aren't a little kid.

I'd do it if possible . I just picked up a 13 WRX as daily and man its sweet. I honestly think i'll be driving it 90% of the time feels so much better than the camaro. All I did was some sways and endlinks and what a car, Grip for days. Just snowed here so you know I was out tearing it up

Maybe some coil overs, (not sure what brand yet), some nice wheels/tires and use the stock wheels with some winter tires for the winter months. Those would be first up on the list, then onto the modifications! And, like I said, Kaizen will be doing all the work. They are one of the top shops for these cars and the GT-R's. They have a great rep with the Evo crowd. Last edited by tones2SS; 12-27-2012 at 06:57 PM. Reason: added text |

For the hell of it when I was shopping for a replacement to my SS I test drove a 2012 EVO GSR, the car was incredible. The salesman wanted to let me run it through some twisties. I will say a SS has 0 chance of staying with an new EVO in twisties, the cars grip is unlike anything I have ever experienced. What the car was lacking was about another 50 hp. All in all a fine car that I wouldn't mind owning at all.

Resale..
A 2010 evo (low miles and stock) cost more than my low milage 2010 2ss it worth . Hell you cant really find a 2006 evo for what my SS is worth .

grip doesn't always equal great handling.. if I were a betting man I would bet that the Camaro would win no contest

Not on this planet, the Evo and sti fight above their weight class on circuits. The Cosworth STi can hang with F430s.
