I've had mine for a week... here's what's happened in that week.
1. Kids running and yelling about the cool car
2. Pedestrian flourished (in a cool way)
3. Lots of head turns
4. Lots of people driving beside me to look in (either through the sunroof or other windows (still untinted)
5. Notified that coworkers were drooling over it
6. It picked up a chick for me... doorbell rings, I thought it was the pizza, instead it's a drunk girl asking for "John," no John here, and none of my neighbors are named John. She doesn't leave but asks me if I'm sure. If she had been prettier, maybe. But at least it got a bite!
So, I think most people are more than fine with the matte black hood.
