XM Radio - not what the booklet says...but...

So, I don't want to be petty - however - I want to get what I was promised... So, if you read the XM Radio booklet, you see that it says you get 3 months of online access free and that you will get online access free when you purchase the package/renew your service.

That is not the case it seems... XM's policy changed in March (my car was built in June - that's when the booklet was put in there) and you will not get it free - ever they told me. The 'customer service' people in whatever country they are in will not honor that promise. I stand by the fact that if the book says it's free, and the book was put into my glovebox in June, then if someone was too lazy to change that booklet in the four months between policy changing and my car being built - that they should honor that promise.

I have heard nothing good about XM radio customer service, I guess I see why...

Chevy Customer Service (the book also has the GM symbol on the top and the link is gm.xmradio.com) will not help either. After tortuous time on the phone w/XM and Chevy - amazingly, the email I sent to: lccstreaming@xmradio.com
asking for the service as promised and I quoted the book - worked. They lived up to the promise that XM's phone-answerer, her supervisor, and GM did not.

So, hope my wasted time helps someone else...I found that I enjoyed XM so much that I could either sit in my car all day (which I'd do anyway if I could...) or listen to it on my computer!)
