Exactly, the advertised times are run by professional drivers in cool dry air at a track with special timing equipment. Are you a professional driver? Have you managed to find 40-degree/ 30% humidity air in the middle of a Florida summer? Have you raced at the track with real timing equipment?
I can guarantee the answer is no to every item I listed, so how on earth do you expect to run 4.8 second 0-60? Not to be rude...I'm just being realistic. Wait until the air is cool, go to the track and run your car. I will agree that torque management seems to make the car too docile at launch, but the few good drivers on this forum have gotten past it. I still can't get a sub 2.2 60' launch at the track, so my car looks like an underperformer but I know it is my fault, not the cars. I need to practice more too.
