Why would it be Tremec's issue?? When it is the GM designers that have to test and choose to use the Tremec design for it to be a supplier.. GM tested the car thoroughly and did not discover this issue.. The only way it is a Tremec issue would be if it is a design flaw after the fact, meaning the quality of the Tremec final production product is not the same as it was in the test vehicles.. Then I would call it their problem for not sending the promised to parts..
