I'm sorry for those of you with 6 Speed Manuals on order. These things are usually not worked out in 1 or 2 days. Pray they get in "gear" sooner rather then later.

Yep, GM designed and engineered the car. Anything that happens to this car outside of driver error or mother nature is GMs fault.

Lets not jump the gun here.

1. It's still unconfirmed.
2. Its a "tired and true" part used in other cars including non-GM cars. This would make it Tremec's issue and not directly GMs.
3. For those who've had the issue, GM overnighted the replacement part to their dealer with no charge to the customer. Got them back on the road in a day or two.

Take a look at the official Built and Bayed in QC thread. The list of cars in QC is getting huge. Mine was built three weeks ago and has been in QC since along with others. There is something not right with this latest run of cars since middle of June.

mine was built 6/25 and was an m6, so almost 3 weeks for me too

I emailed that guy Rick Conti from the corvette conti blog and this is what he said:

Trust me, I do not post just to post, this is advance notice and I had mentioned this quite some time ago, 4-6 weeks or so. The constraint will be official 8/1/09 and that is all I can say.

Well 'IF' That is true in bold then all of our cars should get built..... i think

They picked the vendor and it's up to them to ensure quality control.
