It tells me that the GXP is going to be available in limited numbers. And it's going to be 'special'. How else to keep something 'special' besides hiking up the price so that only a handful of people can get one.
There has to be a V8 Camaro under 30 grand. Otherwise we can kiss the whole vehicle goodbye (that'd be about 30% of sales that are unappealing to shoppers). And since the only things we've heard out of the bigshots at GM is "around 400 hp"...I think it's very likely to see a 400hp Camaro for under 30 grand.
