That seems like a sound summary.
Each of us will have his or her own view regarding the supercar status of our ZL1s. All that truly matters, just as does our choices of colour, manual or auto, black or polished wheels, and so on, is what we as individual owners think.
Several of you have said the same thing - if we think it is, it is. Good enough. I think that mine is, and I'm darned proud to own this car. I'm good with the opposing view too, because it's yours, not mine, and each of your opinions is as accurate as any other.
Someone mentioned that "expensive" is relative (you mentioned a Prius possibly being expensive to someone, depending upon circumstance, which makes sense to me.).
That said, the owner of the beautiful yellow ZL1 who lives in Norway, who paid over $300,000 to become the owner of what he thinks is the only ZL1 in his country, is probably thinking that yes sir, it is expensive, exclusive, powerful, exotic in his area, so for sure, it darn well is a supercar.
Sooooooo, if his is a supercar, relatively, who is to say that we who own the same car don't also own a supercar?
Sure, it still comes down to individual opinion, but it this may well just pass the test of logic.
