The ZR1 has supercar performance, but not exclusivity. The fact you can buy base model Corvette for half the price is the main problem. Supercars don't have cheap base models.

The Ford GT qualifies, because it was a car on a bespoke chassis designed from the ground up with no compromises for a "base" model. As far as exclusivity, look at the value of a used ZR1 vs. a FGT. Nice low mileage examples of the GT are selling in the quarter million dollar range.
