The Z/28 has been revealed (like it or not), and now the price has followed (ditto)...

1) A LOT of car, keeping with the added content...and the added S/L/A/S/H.

2) NOT designed for everyone...just as the original wasn't...

3) NOT priced for every budget...but fairly-priced, for content...

SS for the everyday person who wants style and performance for everyday usage

1LE for those who truly enjoy the driving experience, and who want "something extra"

ZL1 for those who want even "more", and can afford it, without sacrifice

Z/28 for those who won't compromise when it comes to all-out cornering capabilities, and who have the budget to back that up

What's left, this-Gen?

How about a 1LE-type V6?! My long-lamented "Z36" (slash optional). That's the only "hole" I see...

That might be a terrific edition to launch with the Gen-6...along with ALL the other fan-favorites...

Great Post... GM Performance Parts covered the 1LE-V6 type car. In fact it's one of the biggest selling points of those particular parts. Albeit not factory installed but lots of add-ons are dealer options.

Bottom line is I think they covered it all with the 5TH GEN. Perfect Lineup..
