The one exception I can think of is if with a single disk your right at the top of a gear but with a triple disk it pulled RPM back down out of the power band before the traps. Otherwise it should MPH faster. Its a true 1.1 ratio with no converter slip and 100% efficiency just like a manual trans. I'm not saying it will help ET, I'm saying it will almost always trap higher and ALWAYS dyno higher.
