Terry's converter has very little slip, therefore it is making good mph all the way down the track. Think of it like he's damn near locked in all 4 gears.
Where as, I'm slipping in 2.5 gears and dead locked in 1.5 gears.

Look, I'm not trying to compare you guys and if I am I apologize. I'm also not stating it will for sure out perform a single disk in terms of ET. I am saying that it should MPH better when all other variables are equal. I'm just saying TRW's trap speed is super impressive for the type of converter he is using. Plus unless you know exactly how efficient your converter is unlocked vs his there is no way to know if his makes up for the loss of efficiency of yours. I have seen guys switch from a Yank to a triple disk and they almost always gained about 2mph with the same or worse DA. Since your on the subject of comparing your converters why don't you tell us honestly how much ET and MPH you gained from your converter? I'm willing to go out on a limb here and bet that it was more than .17 ET and 1.4mph.
