While I do believe that CAI systems improve airflow I have serious doubts about advertised gains.

There was almost 5 hours of cool down time for the engine & supercharger.
Back in 2004 I put my 03 Cobra on the dyno just to see what it was making. The first two runs were back to back and the hp/tq numbers were very close. The shop owner asked if I was willing to wait and let it cool down so we could see if there was much of a difference when cold. After running a fan on it for about an hour and spraying the intercooler with water before the next run the car picked up about 30 horsepower over the first two runs. Very similar to what's going on here.
