ZL1 has the LSA.

LSAs are built to be 20% stronger than the LS3 short-block, according to GM, and even have hypereutectic pistons with oil-spray cooling to handle the pushing power.


The heads on the LSA are similar to the LS3 heads except that they were slightly redesigned to aid in mix the air/fuel being pumped in by the supercharger.

L99-wet sump with cast crank, LS3-dry sump with forged crank, LSA-forged crank
LS3-no piston oil squirters, LSA-piston oil squirters
LS3-10.7 CR, LSA-9.1 CR
