Going to bring this back from the dead and offer a little help and ask a question.
I used a 17mm to take out the brass plug that Thompson sent with the shortblock.There was nothing on the threads other than the sealant that came on the threads from GM.
Im putting all the factory cooler stuff back on, but need to get the connector fitting out of the old block. Other than using a cresent wrench, does anyone know what the wrench or socket size of the factory fitting actually is?
ETA: Im going to try and get a wrench on the way home from work and Im not sitting in front of the block to throw a mic on it.
