I have been doing a lot of research on beginning to do mods to my Camaro, but I have a few quick questions about a supercharger kit that I am looking at purchasing. I have been looking at the Edelbrock E-force 1597 kit for the L99 Camaro SS; the kit appears to have everything I should need, but do to lack of experience with modding cars I was wondering a few things. First I was wondering how easy a Supercharger is to install and if it is best to install it myself or take it to a shop. Second question is if installing a supercharger will cause premature wear on the engine and other components of the car. Lastly, I was wondering if there is anything that is not included in the kit that I should install to help reliability with a supercharger system.
