Toyotaru looks like crap...
The ATS will be Rear-Drive, based on the Alpha platform. Consider it a little sibling to the Zeta chassis carrying the Camaro. It's smaller, lighter, but just as flexible (it can underpin wagons, coupes, sedans, of any size up to mid-sized.)
It'll probably carry a high-output 4-cylinder as the base engine, and the LLT as the uplevel engine (or it's replacement at that time). I speculate a "V" series will have a turbo V6 in it.
It's supposed to borrow some cues from the CTS, but have distinctive styling itself. Expect pricing to be slightly below the CTS, and this car
should become Cadillac's "bread-and-butter" vehicle ala the 3-series to BMW.
